"I was very against hiring any type of wedding coordinator for my wedding. I pride myself in being able to "do it all" and thought I had the whole wedding planning thing covered. I only had 3 months to plan a 150 person full scale wedding and I work full time and have numerous other commitments. During our pre-marriage counseling, our pastor made me promise to hire a day of coordinator at the very least. He thought I was nuts for trying to do it all on my own, especially for the day of. When I found Different Events at a wedding expo at my venue, I had found my match. My wedding theme was Quirky Shenanigans and they saw and embraced my vision. I hired them for day of coordination but they also helped with several last minute details like spray painting the gumball machine centerpieces gold, getting the gold manzanita trees, finding cupcake ferris wheel and carousel holders, and helping out with the place settings. All of these tasks were more little or big things on my t0-do list that were stressing me out and adding to my anxiety. Having them taken off my plate was an enormous help. The day of, they decorated all of the reception tables, gift tables, cocktail hour tables, made sure all of my little signs were set up in all of the right places, that the ceremony was set up correctly and just all in all made sure everything was smooth. They also saved the day at the rehearsal dinner when our pastor didn't' show due to a broken down car. They saved my sanity through and through and made sure I was a calm, happy, worry free bride on my Best Day Ever. Hiring Different Events was one of the best decision's I made with my wedding and well worth every penny. "We first met Different Events at a wedding expo and they immediately stood out to us. They didn't seem like the average, cookie-cutter wedding planners you would expect and knew they would share our vision to help me pull off a wedding that was unique to me and my now husband. We had a couple of meetings with them prior to the wedding, where Angela and Sylvia had a way about them that made me feel at ease by letting me know when I was on track, but also letting me know when I had overlooked important details. On the day of the wedding they set everything up for us (while I got to relax and drink champagne while getting ready) and our ceremony and reception space ended up looking better than I could have imagined. They coordinated all of our events of the day and made sure everyone was on the same page while also being on top of all the big and small details. Angela and Sylvia were the real MVP's of our wedding and allowed us to enjoy our day to the fullest because we knew they had our best interest at heart and would do what they could to make sure our day was flawless. "Ladies and Gentleman! LISTEN UP! Angela and Silva are AMAZING! They know what they are doing! No joke! I have been to MANY wedding (since I am at that age where everyone seems to be settling down) and you know that weird stage when you don't know whats going to happen next or theres a weird lul... These girls make sure that moment NEVER happens!!! They were on it, with everything! When i had a question about a timeline event placement or advice on how I could get a better bang for my buck at my venue, these girls had the answer!!! Wanna talk about the money? The cost? Was it worth it? Did I get my money's worth? It was money WELL spent! To say the VERY LEAST! You got two on top of their shit coordinators for the price of 1, maybe even less than 1. I wasnt going to have a day of coordinator, however the ceremony coordination was included with my venue. Once I met there two in person....
